The Tennessean provided good coverage of the Urban Land Institute’s Sustainability Forum conducted at Lipscomb University on Friday.  Ed McMahon, a sustainable development expert and a the speaker at the event, provided a memorable line: “There’s only one thing bigger than Mother Nature and that’s Father Profit.”   As an event attendee, I have to say that the invited speaker and the panel did a great job answering questions and tackling the difficult subject of how to change the mindset of most Americans that green buildings are profitable and beneficial to not just nature, but their wallets.
