Business Week article highlights the trend in business schools creating MBA curriculums to be more “green.”  The reason many business schools are coming up with “green MBAs” is because of the rise in jobs in the clean technology and other such sectors and the drying up of the jobs in the traditional business sectors.

Most business schools say that although interest in these courses and programs is probably going to peak and then drop off a bit, the need to study and understand how business impacts the environment will never go away. And business schools are the ones shouldering the responsibility to train a new generation of MBAs who are equipped to make sound decisions.

The article also notes that many college and business school campuses are also adopting a lot of sustainable practices in their regular operations.
