Very cool design in Portland:  A General Services Administration building will have its own type of urban garden with “vegetated fins” that will grow more than 200 feet high on the west side of the main federal building.  The garden will change with the seasons and provide energy savings.  The architects are still working out the details on how to water and care for the plants.
